“Our mission is to help assist organizations in Israel that assist the lone soldiers,” Sirkin said during a visit to St. Louis in late December. “We provide funding based upon grants we receive from organizations in Israel. What makes us a little bit different is we have people on the ground. Out of the eight board members, three of us are in Israel and five are in the U.S.”
